Steve Banks has over thirty years of experience in corporate and partnership taxation. Mr. Banks has spent most of his career with "Big Four" accounting firms working with large multi-national corporations as well as closely held, middle market companies. Mr. Banks provides extensive merger and acquisition counseling to a diverse client base. He also advises clients on corporate reorganization issues, S-corporation and partnership taxation, as well as multi-state taxation and U.S. taxation of foreign operations.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Banks was a Tax Partner for eight years at Ernst & Young LLP. He frequently services the taxation and business advisory needs of clients in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries.
Mr. Banks has been a guest lecturer at area business schools. He is also a regular speaker for various business and professional groups, focusing on taxation issues associated with mergers & acquisitions.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Brigham Young University, Mr. Banks holds a B.S. in Accounting and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in both California and Utah. He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
