Mark Berns has nearly 30 years of experience providing business advisory services to clients in several industries, including the  manufacturing, distribution, service and retail industries.  Mr. Berns has extensive experience serving the real estate industry, including developers, builders and property owners. 

In addition to broad ranging industry experience, Mr. Berns expertly guides clients through complex decisions involving acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations and merger transactions. 

Mr. Berns began his career at the firm known then as Block, Good & Gagerman.  That firm is known today as Good Swartz Brown & Berns LLP.

A student of the University of Texas, Austin, Mr. Berns ultimately earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from California State University, Northridge. 

Mr. Berns is actively involved in Los Angeles community. He is the immediate past President of Stephen S. Wise temple,  holds a seat on the U.A.H.C. National board of directors, and is on the executive committee of that organization's Pacific South West Region.  Committed to continuing education for both his colleagues and young people, Mr. Berns also holds a seat on the Miliken High School Community Board.

A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Berns is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
