Michael Berns has nearly 40 years of experience in providing business advisory and tax planning services for his clients.  He also provides litigation support to attorneys in the Los Angeles area.

A senior partner of the firm, Mr. Berns specializes in handling closely held, entrepreneurial businesses.  His clients hail from a wide variety of industries including commercial and residential real estate entities, shopping centers, real estate developers, medical professionals, manufacturers, automobile dealerships, law firms and distribution companies. 

Mr. Berns’ most recent litigation support experience includes forensic accounting services for a financial institution that made collateralized loans to a marble distribution company in San Diego, California, and to a scrap metal company in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mr. Berns graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Accounting.  A Certified Public Accountant, he is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. 

Mr. Berns is a founding member of the Stop Cancer organization.  He also holds a seat on the board of directors of the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation.
