Kevin Holmes specializes in Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 consulting, financial accounting and audit, and business advisory services.  Mr. Holmes is responsible for the development of GSBB’s award winning Section 404 methodology and approach  (Practical Accountant, September 2004), and is currently the Partner-in-Charge of GSBB’s Section 404 consulting practice. He has extensive experience in leading Section 404 projects for multinational accelerated filers and middle-market non-accelerated filers, and assisting private companies with internal control improvement projects. Mr. Holmes has a broad range of experience and has spent more than 11 years serving companies in the high technology, manufacturing, distribution, retail and service industries. Mr. Holmes has worked with established and growing companies with core expertise serving middle-market businesses throughout Southern California.

Mr. Holmes began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1994 and joined GSBB in 2002.  He has developed expertise with internal control, financial accounting, corporate acquisitions and divestitures, initial public offerings and private equity and debt financing transactions.  Mr. Holmes has a proven record of providing outstanding client service. 

A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Mr. Holmes earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a specialty in Accounting Theory and Practice.

Mr. Holmes is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Mr. Holmes also serves on the Board of Directors of the College of the Canyons Foundation.
