Doug Samuelson brings to GSBB fourteen years of accounting experience in both public accounting and private industry. His insights give clients the perspective critical to the internal controls analysis requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2004.
Throughout his career Mr. Samuelson has developed strong expertise in business processes, process risk and internal controls. He also has a deep understanding of accounting issues specific to a variety of industries and significant experience with SEC regulations, acquisitions and divestitures.
Prior to joining GSBB, Mr. Samuelson was the director of accounting for Rand Corporation, a global non-profit research organization. His career includes prior experience as a financial executive in private industry and as an Experienced Manager at Arthur Andersen. He began his career in private industry in 1988.
Mr. Samuelson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City in 1982. He later earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge.
